BlastMap III is a key software tool for creating value to your mining operation that allows you to create complex timing designs for enhanced vibration control, improved fragmentation, heave and safer high walls and final walls. BlastMapIII designs can be downloaded directly to the AXXIS™ Logger or AXXIS™ Blasting Box and thus automatically transferred to the detonators through the blasting box.
Blast designs can be created easily by using the pattern designer or by importing hole coordinates with the easy to use Import Wizard. BlastMap III offers a simple but extensive blast design experience with multiple or single hole editing with decking included. With the hole side view you can change individual / selected group hole properties using a simple slider.

With a few mouse clicks you can quickly tune your blast using Vector Timing. Vector Timing allocates timing to each hole based on its position in the blast. You can also add a fixed delay between holes in a row and between rows, or set individual hole timings. With total flexibility to use any of these three timing methods in any configuration, BlastMap III allows total control.
Simulate Timing Design
BlastMap III enables you to simulate hole firing and deck firing while displaying wave interference. Playback speed is adjustable, and the tracking bar allows you to select any point in the simulation.
Seamless Integration with the AXXIS™ blasting system
BlastMap III was built for BME’s AXXIS™ electronic detonator system to assist with timing design. Timing can be sent and received to and from the AXXIS™ system. Standard or more complex timing designs can easily be applied to blasts using the AXXIS™ electronic detonator system.
Peak Particle Velocity (PPV) Prediction
A grid of seismographs can be added to your design, giving you an overall area overview of the PPV prediction.
BlastMap III provides an industry standard fragmentation prediction curve based on your design. Actual measured and reference fragmentation values can also be added to the curve.
Contouring of Data
BlastMap III has a powerful contouring module that allows analysis of data including fire times, hole depths, elevations and energy distribution. With BlastMap III you can produce custom designed reports quickly and easily with a click of a button, and export them to PDF or Microsoft Excel formats for easy sharing.
